The tailgate cables appear to at least as good, or maybe better than the originals
I was pleased that they were NOT made in Red China. They have covering over part of the ends, which the pic and the OEMs did not, but OK. Maybe it protects the cable ends, and is a design improvement. I was surprised to get the new hardware, as I didn't think it was included. They look as good a quality as the originals. So far, I'm happy.. .

Product arrived as promised, and it works.
It's original film in original boxes. Made one copy as a test---it worked fine!

Does the job well
I was hoping it had a "slip clutch" when the set torque was reached. It does. The reading is hard to see, and not as precise as I would like. A mechanical / digital setting would be better, like an old odometer, that would read to tenths of an inch pound as it was turned to set. I have an old deluxe Craftsman torque wrench that shows the setting to the single digit. A competitor has a lever that attaches for added torque, when needed. (Not really complaining, just suggesting---the product does the job as advertised and I'm basically satisfied).
