Pure nostalgia!
Re-Flex is a really fine example of a 1980's Pop. I recently heard The Politics of Dancing on an internet station called Excess 80's, and just had to replace my vinyl copy. I played it all the way from Te Anau to Dunedin - a 3 hour trip - and remembered just why I love(d) this group! Thoroughly recommend this CD as you get many great bonus songs and extended plays...

Gritty look at the underbelly of Brisbane life beside the river.
Set in Brisbane and wonderfully written. The story follows Lola's unwitting involvement in the Brisbane drug dealing scene, as a direct result of being left parentless and without a house (her term). The characters are all very real, and it's quite a shock to realise that many people are forced to live in this way. I loved this book as much as Trent's debut, Boy Swallows Universe.

Blast from the 80's
Heard her for the first time, on the radio a few weeks ago, looked her up on EBAY, and bought this album. It's a great mix of punk and pop. Hazel has a superb voice; it's well worth owning.
