Burned out in (1) day
Having installed this on a motorcycle correctly (14ga wire, fused relay and inline fuse), it worked for 24 hours. The following day i noticed the light was out while the relay was on, so I tapped on the socket and had the blue indicator LED flash on then off again. After a series of tests I determined the internal soldering had failed. I understand this is a cheap part but I found it unacceptable that it failed after less than a days use. I only plugged my phone in once briefly to verify that the charger was working.
