Perfect
This is my first set of mortar/pestle for home lab use. They are thickly constructed and solid. Great set for kitchen, lab, etc. The three different sizes are sure to provide an appropriate option for any grinding needs.
Smallest size seems great for grinding pills for pet medications or powdering some black peppercorns for a dish or rub.
Middle size is just right for grinding and blending, while the larger size could easily powder enough sugar to ice a small cake.
The pestles are think and sturdy, and the raw ceramic surface on the pestle-face and interior of the mortar make even very fine powder fairly quick and easy to achieve.
