Thorens should not compromise. even on a entry level turntable.

After break in time on stylus it sounds alright, for the price. Not great, but alright. It's easy to use, which is nice. What's wrong with it? The nob for the record size is in the way for cleaning the stylus with a brush. It would be nice to have had a detachable headshell. And the legs aren't adjustable for leveling

SA-700 is a great buy

I have a Pioneer SX-980 and a Technics SA-700. I sorry you Pioneer fans, it’s pretty. But the SA -700 sounds better. Hope to review a SX-1080 soon. For half the price, you can’t go wrong.
