Exactly what it says it is
Natural coloured aquarium sand. Exactly what it says on the bag! Reasonably clean so not too much rinsing. Delivered promptly and well wrapped so no split bags.

Worth it but patience and time required
This is a good product if you do not want unsightly sticky tape at the sides and in view. It is very tricky to use. Even though I had a helper to hold the background I could still not manage to attach it without bubbles of air between the glass and the background despite taking plenty of time. 5ft long aquarium did not make it easy. You cannot feel or see the air bubbles on the outside but once aquarium filled you can see them like little mirrors through the water. Looking straight on you are still aware but not as much. Once the planting grows to cover the rear it won't matter. All in all I much prefer that the background is stuck to the glass without sticky tape which always becomes unsightly after time. You need plenty of time and patience but all in all I believe it's worth the cost and time.
