I'm happy enough with this wee machine
It's a small machine with a carry handle, which is what I wanted it for. I like to be able to dust the tops of things like bookcases with a brush duster, and the hose from my ordinary vaccuum simply doesn't reach. This Haden is very lightweight and perfect for that purpose.
The only downside for me is that it gets VERY hot. And quickly. It actually became uncomfortable holding it in my hand for much time, because the handle is positioned directly over the outlet. However, I think it's not faulty. I think it's just meant to be a hot-running machine—and not really meant to be hand held.
I found a source of the HC 14100 bags, which are easy to install and empty. They are very small, so I don't think this machine would be great if you had a lot of floor hoovering to do. You'd be going through bags pretty quickly. However, as a furniture duster, this works really well.
The cord is a good length for most purposes. I haven't had to add an extension cord to it yet. This is a lot better than the other 'hand held' machine I own.
I'm happy enough with this wee machine, for the purpose I'm using it for.

Tops need reshaping, but otherwise excellent
The only reason I gave this four stars rather than five is that the top of each boot is flattened and rubs against the legs. Very uncomfortable, even with socks. HOWEVER, I sorted the problem by holding the tops in near-boiling water, shaped them into a rounder shape, then quickly ducked them into cold water. They retained the round shape and are now very comfortable to wear. (See photo below ...unaltered boot is on the left, reshaped boot is on the right.)
Aside from that niggle (which is quite a drawback till you fix it) I think these are wonderful. They are easy to get on and off, more comfortable underfoot than plain wellies, and have a pretty good grip as well.

Sorry, but these are not glass. They are plastic.
These look great in the photo, but unfortunately they are not as advertised. They are plastic. If you want a good-looking plastic icicle for a fairly high price, these will be fine. If you're looking for glass, though, you will be disappointed.
