Updated, 4-5-18.Tic-Toc I can tell what time it is.
This purchase was to replace a dead timepiece with the same unit. Clock mechanism functions great.
Hopefully you save your old pointer arms because the tin ones that come with this thing are rolled/folded up to fit in the ziplock baggie....lol
This alone is the reason for 4 star rating.
Update 4-5-18: reduced to 1 star.
May as well have left my dead clock the way it was, at least it was correct twice a day.
This new clock mechanism I installed functions, but it was never taught how to keep time. It runs slooow, like at least an hour slow each day.

Time to shop again for a different new one and roll the dice again.
