Meh

I wouldn't say it smells like pine. Very light scent. Soap makes great fluffy suds, but is drying to skin.Lotion is good quality but blah smell. Pumps don't work right either. I can see why TJ's discontinued it.

Softly smoky

Illume products are very nice, but they are expensive. This is a total splurge. I rarely find a scent I truly love so I got it for special occasions. As for recommendation-- scent is completely personal. Illume Woodfire is soft & smoky. Similar in intensity to baby powder. I would describe it as woodshop or cedar sawdust with hints of soft smoke like vanilla cigar. Maybe a trace of sandalwood undertones. I do own a cedar chest so am familiar with it, but I've never burned cedar in a fireplace.
