A good value storage solution
I needed a way to keep all my various Cds & DVDs that were not in jewel cases neat and tidy, especially with an imminent move ahead. This seemed to fit the bill as regards function and cost. I reckoned I had about 70-odd discs, so the claim of holding 96 seemed what I needed with a bit of spare capacity.
I did read another review that doubted its ability to hold as many as the 96 claimed, especially when zipped-up. nevertheless, I ordered one.
The case itself and zip seemed well made, but my main reservation was that the pouches that hold the discs are quite thin, so you must slip the disc in on its own - ie no other jacket or cover, so discs need to be labelled for I.D.
Having loaded about 60 discs, I can see that it will be a bit of a squeeze to get nearly 100 in without a struggle or straining the zip. Still, it has achieved what I wanted at a low cost.

Good value & reliable
I chose Verbatim as it's a brand name and I have used CD's by them before. This purchase didn't disappoint either.
My project to burn a couple of videos (originally taken off old VHS tapes) for a friend was completed without any troubles and the result was just as good as my original copy (hence justifying the name "Verbatim", I suppose!)

Pro-spec film SLR at amateur price
Strangely enough, one of the main reasons for buying one of these F80's was something fairly minor in most peoples estimation! Being "of a certain age", my eyes are not so good as they were and the fact that this camera has a dioptric adjuster for the eyepiece built-in, was a real boon. I had previously owned the Nikon F90x which was a solid,well-specc'd camera. However, it became a source of annoyance that subjects seen through the viewfinder were not quite as clear/sharp as I'd like. (I therefore relied 100% on the autofocus being spot-on!)Corrective diopter eyepieces are available but they are not very common now (the camera was a 90's model after all)and moreover, you needed to know the prescription for your eyesight in order to know which diopter size to buy. Too much hassle, hence going for the F80 ! Lighter body, cable release, grid lines to aid composition..plus I'm sure the autofocus is faster than the F90x (?)Apparently there was a question mark over its durability compared to other/earlier Nikons, but I dont use it professionally anyway. Prices seem to vary wildly, but I was lucky to get this all-black one at a good price with a bit of patience & searching. Much better than the older F401 F55/65's around for similar money.
