  The product was inspected before it was shipped and had none of the damage that you described. Considering I practically gave it away at the price you paid, I am confused why you would be unhappy in the least! Try putting a 9-volt battery on each one. I'm sure they are both fully functional. I would however recommend replacing the old o-rings as they have likely dried up over the years. I would perform that maintenance before each paintball season!
