Nicely crafted, not adjustable enough
2 of 4 found this helpful Bought this bridge as a replacement for a VOX SSC-33 guitar I picked up at a Pawn Shop (guitar was perfect other than the fact the previous owner swapped the MaxConnect bridge for a hooptie non-adjustable one. Some people just aren’t smart enough to leave well-enough alone, I guess).
Installation was easy enough- didn’t even have to change the anchors out. The bridge looks and sounds great. But the lack of adjustment for intonation is lacking- I simply can’t get the bridge far enough back to keep the strings from into going sharp, either at the saddles or the screws on the bridge. It’s close, but not close enough.
So keep this in mind if you’re looking at this bridge as a potential replacement. You might not be able to get it into acted properly.

Great design… poor execution
While I like the ergonomics and design of this product, the overall fit-and-finish leaves a lot to be desired.
The frame lock on this knife was not machined well at all, which can be seen in the play of the blade when completely extended. The blade play was so bad that the liner lock ceased to hold the blade open, which almost resulted in it closing on my fingers.
There were many places on the knife with incomplete machining (sharp edges that should have been smoothed out, holes with burrs still in them, etc.) and poor construction.
The fact the Pilar was also designed with a flipper tab is nonsensical when the blade doesn’t not deploy quickly at all also smacks of poor design. Loosening the blade pivot screw (in order to make the blade open up with less fuss) only results in excessive side-to-side play in the blade, making the knife unusable.
In total, I don’t recommend this knife at all. Get the original Pilar instead- it is an all together better product.

Works pretty good.
Bought two of these pumps for a home project. All I needed were two lengths of 3/4” ID hose and appropriate hose clamps to make it usable. While it recommended using an AC-powered drill, a cordless variant will also work.
