Hard to put on, but they work well
These are hard to put on right - you'll be swearing at them as the end slips through your fingers yet again without pulling in all the way - but they stay on fine when you have them installed all the way. In that picture, there's the top end, with the disk halfway down, then the ring below that. You have to wrap it around your string, then put that top end through the ring. That's half installed. Now, you have to keep pulling on that end until the disk part *also* goes through the ring. It has to completely go through the ring. If you're not yelling at it, you haven't got it yet.
I bought these and limb silencers, and the crossbow is much quieter.

As others have said, this is top-notch equipment.
The only improvement I could see making to these is to make them somewhat waterproof. For my application, that would be nice. But otherwise, these are really terrific switches. The smaller ones (red, different product than these) that they sell have a bit heavy action, but these are pretty light. Very solidly built, they seem like they'll last a good long time. (I'm building an automated knee-wall opener/closer for my hoophouse, so the lack of water resistance is a design issue, but I absolutely can't fault the quality of the switches.)

Terrific little battery charger
1 of 1 found this helpful Sure wish I'd had these two years ago. We (four of us) went bike touring for a month, and needed some way to charge head/tail light batteries. I had my bike's generator hub - 6V, 3W, and I could have pretty easily rigged up a 5V USB connection, but didn't get that figured out before we went, because there were no USB chargers for NiMH batteries. But there are now! This is a really nice little solution. I took one apart - and it's well-done. It has all the protections listed built onto the board. I've run two sets of AAA and AA NiMH batteries through it, and it did a terrific job charging them.
Also you should know that it says it wants 5V 2.1A input, which you can't get from standard USB, but it doesn't require that at all. It draws the standard 400mA or less. I even gave it a bigger power source, with the data lines connected (standard way for USB power supplies to signal they can prove more juice) and it didn't draw more than that. So, it's not a *fast* charger, but it is very smart and quite safe.
