Perfect Replacement Part

Great Small Business Cloud Server but difficult to set up.
This is a great affordable cloud server for small business that is fast, quiet, with plenty of space. However, it took a long time to get it set up for off site access. A search of the internet revealed users issues with access off site. A firmware update supposedly corrected much of the problems but not in my case. No software came with my purchase and the software you could download from WD was confusing. Frankly, I'm not sure you even need software. I accessed the server through its IP address. Ultimately, I had to assign a static IP address, port forward, and set up for relay before I could finally access files off the network. I doubt a buyer without networking knowledge could set it up.
However, it was the most affordable NAS that I could find for a small business that doesn't require a massive amount of space. If you have a rudimentary understanding of routers and networking it is well worth the cost and hassle to set up. I have a Netgear N router attached to a PC running windows 10.
