Great hold, but a little too sweet of a scent for me.
As a pomade, works great on thick hair! Excellent hold even using a dab (the size of a pea or so), goes on easy (especially paired with the layrite comb) and washes out very well.
My only complaint is this: I bought this because I heard the scent was not as strong or offensive and that it fades pretty quickly. In the can, smells pretty good; however, it doesn't fade and it kind of makes me nauseated. It just has this sickly, sweet smell that I personally can't stand. I've paired the application with an essential oil and that helped dramatically!
On the bright side, I purchased this because of the "light, fading scent" mostly for my wife as she's really sensitive to harsh scents. And SHE isn't bothered by the smell.
