Nice parametric modeler - OsX universal, too
Terrific! Works great on power mac, too - as well as modern osX (el Capitan). It's a nice little parametric modeling program, and certainly rivals some much bigger software at basic modeling (solidworks, fusion360). It'll even give you a nice STL mesh preview when you go to export. This isn't a 3d-rendering program, but if you're looking to make nice parametric solids or basic assemblies, this could fit the bill. The architectural stuff - not so sure, didn't try it.
Also installs some extras - moderately useful training videos - and not-so-useful (for me) textures. Some decent title block/templates in various standard sizes. Comes with a decent paperback manual (several hundred pages, B&W).
To get the installer to run in modern os x: copy the installer application to your hard drive, control click (or right-click) the Installer app icon, show package contents, open resources installscript plist, and change "Require Admin" to FALSE, save file, and try running the installer again.
On-line registration worked without a hitch, even from a g5 running 10.5.8.
