Solid metal part, holds up much better than plastic over time
The plastic pieces I had first installed eventually became brittle and cracked after years of use. It's doubtful the solid metal piece will do the same. Great value at only about six dollars!

The switch works great, although I only tested it at the 20-foot range so far. I click on and off distinctly, activating the plug (wireless receiver) every time.
