Awesome wide angle lens for 35mm film or FX sensor DSLR

This is old school autofocus wide angle lens for Nikon cameras. Prime lens is relatively fast, f/2.8, good for scenery or group shots. When used up close can be used to distort perspective and make people’s features look out of proportion. The D designation indicates that distance to subject info is communicated with Nikon camera body. This helps when used with compatible flash and P mode on appropriate camera models. I use it on models Nikon F5, F100, F80. It will also work well on F90 because it has the Aperture ring to manually change the f stop; unlike the new “G” lenses. Small In size but made well with characteristic Nikon quality throughout.

The perfect support for 70-300 zoom

Have a Carl Zeiss 70-300 auto-focus zoom on my Contax NX camera body. This is fairly heavy and without a tripod collar on lens didn't want to take a chance and damage the camera lens mount by using the tripod mount on the camera. This is a perfect solution. Very well designed with the quick release for the camera and an adjustable vertical axis. The lens is supported by an adjustable cradle depending on the length of the lens. There are several threaded holes on the bottom of the bracket for mounting to the support of your choosing. There are both sizes of threaded holes 1/4-20 and 3/8-16. There is also a Velcro strap to secure the lens in the cradle. Very high quality materials and workmanship. It is a precision piece of equipment designed to hold up to the most arduous working conditions and/or demanding professional or serious amateur photographer. Highly recommend this to photographers everywhere if you are in need of this type of support for your camera and lens.
