Intel Boxed Core i7-6800K Processor (15M Cache, up to 3.60 GHz) BX80671I76800K

    Review of the i7-6800k processor
I bought this processor for a great price online BNIB and it was too good to pass up. It is super easy to install and very fast and responsive. I haven't overclocked my processor and don't see a need to do so. I ran several benchmarks and stress tests and it outperforms many competitors in the ballpark and even some that have higher specs. I couldn't be more grateful for purchasing this CPU and I would definitely recommend it for others. The only caveat I can think of with this processor is that it only has 28 PCI Express Lanes. In motherboards that support the U.2 connector for SSD's, the requirement is a 40 PCIe lane CPU to function. Outside of this, AMAZING processor!!!!

Gigabyte G1 X99 Ultra Gaming Intel LGA 2011-3 ATX Motherboard with RGB Lighting

Review of the Gigabyte GA-X99 Ultra Gaming Motherboard rev 1.0
I purchased this motherboard because it was too good to pass up for the price. This motherboard is fantastic and as sturdy as the manufacturer claims it to be. It is very sturdy and well built. The BIOS is packed with features up the wazoo. It might come off a bit intimidating at first, but it's very simple to follow, and it even has a nice help toggle that explains each feature. You can also read each feature in more detail in the manual. I haven't overclocked my system and don't really see a reason to do so, but from going through all the options I could tell this motherboard is fantastic for that feature. It gives the user so much control over the OC process. It gives you the ability to save multiple profiles if you want so if you mess up you can revert to another profile. Even if you were to clear the current CMOS setting through the jumper, your profiles aren't lost. Overall this is a FANTASTIC motherboard. I think it's cool that you can customize the colors of the LED's on your motherboard, however I don't use this feature so I turned it off. In general my favorite feature of the motherboard is how sturdy and well built it is. It has every feature and function any gamer or computer enthusiast can ever want. It's VERY responsive. The only issue I ran in to is that the BIOS seems to be bigger than my monitor display can handle. I'm not sure if there is a way to adjust the BIOS resolution. I have a decent video card and Windows loads fine, but the BIOS seems to run in 600x800 resolution and some of the features are on top of each other so it's hard to see. This isn't a BIG deal, but some may find it a little of an annoyance. Another nice perk of the motherboard is that it has a "PC Health" status in the BIOS that shows you the temperature. I'm running a watercooled system right now and I haven't run higher than 26 degrees Celsius. On avg I am about 19 degrees Celsius. 1 other thing I should mention is that finding memory for the motherboard was a little tough. This motherboard shows that it support memory up to 3600, and I checked the memory compatibility list on Gigabytes website and compared it to the memory manufacturers compatibility sheet and there were mismatches. I ended up purchasing gskill memory but the highest that they showed that was supported for the motherboard was 3200. I'm sure more memory options will be available down the road, but for now make sure you do your research and double check with your memory manufacturer to confirm compatibility with this motherboard. After enabling XMP in the BIOS the memory works wonderfully and it's super fast!
    Apple MacBook Pro 13.3" Laptop 3.1 Ghz i7 & 16GB RAM with 512GB (2015)

MacBook Pro MF843LL/A - Great Laptop! Outperforms many newer laptops. Durable, and long lasting!!!
This is an incredible computer. Great quality. I love the newer gen macbooks with their intel chipset because if you plan on running Windows on there, it runs the operating system amazing with great driver support. The macbook I have has 16Gb of memory at a speed of 1866 MHz; which is more than enough to handle any task I throw at it. It's a Dual core i7 processor with a speed of 3.1 Ghz. The hard drive it comes with is a SSD 512Gb which is great. I decided to upgrade mine to a 500Gb WD Black NVME drive (WDS500G2X0C). This drive uses the M.2 2280 form factor; which isn't compatible with the macbook pro normally, however after some research I found there to be a compatible adapter that allows you to use this drive in a MBP without any performance loss. For anyone interested in the adapter, here is what I have: "NGFF M.2 PCIe SSD Card as 2013 2014 2015 MacBook SSD" You can read more about the SSD and performance of it using the adapter on macrumors forums Overall, the macbook pro is a great platform. Very durable unibody and solid engineering. The small features such as the backlit keyboard and the magnetic power connection are only a sample of the great features that come with macs. Once you own an apple computer the upgrades to the newest operating system are free. You don't have to worry about your computer being loaded with a bunch of bloatware when you purchase an apple computer and these computers are built to last. This is my 2nd macbook pro. My older model (mid 2012) I have had for over 6 years now and it still performs as well if not better than many competing laptops on the market today.
