Good value but beware of micro-print instruction sheet
1 of 2 found this helpful Pros: compact size, adequate radio sound quality (don't expect high fidelity and you won't be disappointed). the backup battery feature for loss of power appears to function but initial trial was sketchy so give it time.
Cons: the instruction sheet is printed in a ridiculously small font. I literally had to use a magnifying glass to read it. you must read the instructions to know how to set the time. it's not as idiot-proof as my previous alarm clock radio that died after 15 years of service. Also, the logos on the clock itself are small and hard to read as well.
i use it to show time and play 90 minutes of news in the morning. i use my iPhone for my alarm. For the price i think it's a good value. perhaps i could get more functionality out of it if i spent the time reading more of the instructions with a magnifying glass in hand.

When you don't have the patience to deal with an old carburetor a clone may be the answer
I was able to swap out the original carburetor and replace it with this chinese knock-off and it needed no further adjustment of the carburetor. I typically buy rebuild kits to fix carb problems but this was a quick and easy alternative and I can rebuild the original carburetor at a later date.

X-Coarse grit was fine (pun intended), but XX-Coarse grit may have served me better
This diamond plate has sufficient heft to hold it in place while flattening your workpiece. I bought it to flatten some sharpening stones and to quickly dress chipped chisel edges. I bought the x-coarse grit and in hindsight, i wish I had purchased the XX-coarse grit. It may have sped up the process for me. I also used it as a backing plate whereupon I placed some sandpaper across it and used it as a make-do lapping plate. the narrow 2 inch width is a bit of a challenge but I liked the longer 11 inch length of this plate. If I didn't already have several vintage sharpening stones I would consider adding a couple finer grits as these plates seem to be highly touted on the internet.
