Beautiful, Gritty, Powerful
First, let me say that you need BOTH Volume I and Volume II to get the entire first season and while not for the faint of heart, this is and incredible story. Outlander has stayed remarkably true to the first book of the Diana Gabaldon series, or maybe not so remarkably since the author is an active consultant on the series.
Outlander is gritty, realistic, sometimes hard to watch, and I found it completely impossible to tear myself away from it. Yes, there is nudity, but the nudity is nothing more than present in the story, and I am a typical American prude and did not find it offensive. The last two episodes of Volume II were sometimes hard to watch as they courageously tackled the issues of torture and rape in a disturbingly realistic manner. These things are occurring daily today in war and terror torn parts of the world and closing our eyes to it does not make it go away. Outlander approaches these things from the correct perspective of truth, showing them to be the desire of evil people toand dominate and control, nothing to do with sex. The psychological effects are explored in depth, and yes it hard to watch Jamie and Claire struggle through these two episodes, coming to terms with the aftermath of evil. If the end of this season does not tear your heart out, you may not have one, but it is an incredible testament to the power of love. The closing scene of the final episode, To Ransom A Man's Soul, left my eyes filled with tears of joy and hope for these wonderful characters for Season Two.
From a technical standpoint, the history and geographical beauty of Scotland is nothing less than another character that does not appear in the list of credits. The acting is truly the best I have ever seen. It was intensely done, sometimes funny, sometimes painful, I could see nothing of the actors in the characters. The characters were simply their own beings, as if they were truly living individuals. Always, adding to the beauty of Scotland, the joy of love, the intensity of a whole range of emotions, is the amazing music of Bear McCreary, surely one of the most talented people in the industry. Outlander is the best thing I have ever watched and I am looking forward to Season Two more than I can say.

Highly Recommend
1 of 1 found this helpful I love this phone! The screen is beautiful, the camera takes great pictures and is easy to use and it's fast, fast, fast. Apps and internet work at lightning speed. I like this phone so much that I bought my daughter one. I have only one complaint, but it's the same complaint that Galaxy owners the world over have had for years: Still can't change Bixby's awful name.

Perfect!
This power supply for my outdated little computer is perfect. It is exactly like what came out of the box when the computer was new. As if that weren't enough, the shipping was amazingly fast and the price was truly reasonable.
