1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this as a step up from the training collar I had for my dog before. This is the same price as the other one, but much better quality. My dog is quite small, so often things won't fit her properly. This collar has holes on the entire collar so it's unlikely it won't fit a small dog (unless the actual part of it that beeps/buzzes is too clunky to comfortably fit your dog-so maybe not a good choice for owners of toy breeds)
The material of the beeping part is very sturdy seeming, and my dog has swam with it extensively, digging in same after and rolling around then swimming some more. The collar doesn't seem to be bothered by it.
Everything works fine and came as promised (the only part I have not extensively tested yet is the transmission distance/range). Everything was in the box and it came promptly.
I don't think that remote is waterproof which is the only thing I really think they could do different or better.
While I'm sure there are cheaper products out there that might even be of a comparable quality, I have no regrets in buying this product. I like that if I decide to get another dog I can get another collar and sink it up with the remote I have so I can monitor both dogs on the same outing. (Also a nice thing, the collar and remote came with a pretty full charge and pre-synced with each other)
I would definitely recommend this product to those looking for something durable and waterproof.
