More of a conversation with Elmer Keith
I cannot say enough about this book. If you think you are buying a book by a polished author then you will be really surprised but in a good way. Imagine being able to sit with Elmer Keith by a campfire and just letting him tell stories non-stop. He begins with as much as he can remember going back into his childhood up through his life and his family. The detail his memory is able to retain and recall is hard to describe. I thought I had a pretty good handle on the early 1900's but reading this book I came to understand a lot of what I thought was right just isn't. You will feel like you were there with Elmer on the hunts and with his family. I had a real hardcore cowboy for an uncle and when we would visit him he would sit around the campfire telling stories. Since his passing I have really missed him and his unreal ability to tell stories which seems to be a lost art. This book brings those memories back. Reading this book will give you a special appreciation for the generations we have lost and a better understanding of the people that came before us. It would be a shame if anyone passes this book up.

Worth the extra money.
3 of 3 found this helpful I am not an audiophile by any descrition. The radio was the only thing changed in my truck. I am still getting used to it and exploring all its features. The BT interface is very fast and clean. Make sure to look up on youtube the secret menu so you will not have to try and hookup a defeat module on the emergency brake. The way Waze and Google maps are presented are really cool. I prefer Waze when using my phone for the screen. But have come to prefer Google Maps on the head unit. The larger screen makes all the options Google Maps gives you worth it. Android wireless all the way.

Would buy again!
I use it in a room that is roughly 120sq. ft. It has two large single pain windows. It has a low ceiling with the no attic. This got us through the summers worst temps and allowed us to sleep comfortably. The only thing that has failed is the oscillating vents. So I just leave them open. The second story room has a lot of issues with heat. But this unit handled it. I think being upset for how loud this unit is could be considered very petty. AC units as a mechanism are a loud mechanical affair. I was sleeping 4 feet from the unit running and just popped in some ear plugs. Problem solved. On the econ mode I think some work could be done to help the unit turn on and off a bit smoother. But I would buy another in a heartbeat. LG is a quality brand.
