F3, a benchmark for camera quality
1 of 1 found this helpful You can trust an F3 to keep on chugging, even after years of being left unused and unloved; put a new roll of film through it and it happily shoots away.
The facture quality throughout the range of accessories underscores Nikon's attempts to reach the top of the professional equipment market; a few AA batteries and everything operates like it was made yesterday.
The photo quality, the build quality, the longevity of parts, the accessory range, all are excellent. Most pros who've been servicing SLRs would have worked on at least one F3 before, and since they were made for years, there's still plenty of spare parts.
A great camera.
