DR Strings Hi-Def NEON Blue Coated Medium 5-String (45-125) Bass Guitar Strings

Get Them.

I know where to get Bass Strings for $20-24 for 2 packs of 5 (medium gauge, just what I go for), but I decided to go with these for the flare that my new custom paint job needed. I expected them to be decent, just by brand. Now about 2 months into them (30mins-2hours EVERY day), I'm almost surprised that the color is still in perfect condition AND so is THE TONE. They don't feel as powdery and dry as they used to (I've played them on used basses in the past). The coating is almost silky but brings with it that heavy new string crunch. If you can find a reason to use these, do it. I mixed it with the green pack on a 5 string. It. Works. (Blue in UV looks more white, but does work)
