Decent flares for the $
2 of 2 found this helpful Shipping was a little slower than expected, but when they arrived I was pretty pleased with the quality. They’re not $1000 top of the line flares, but for a 17 year old’s Jeep, they’re great.
Installation instructions were useless. Appeared to be written by a Chinese individual with an extremely limited English vocabulary. I give them an A for effort but a F for execution.
Mounting holes didn’t align with factory holes, but I found that bending the front fender in towards the back of the Jeep ever so slightly helped the rear holes align better on the front flares. Only 2 of the holes aligned on the rear flares, so some drilling was required.
After spending an hour trying to figure out which holes all the hardware should be used on, to no avail, I gave up and used whatever would fit in the factory holes and used the self tapping screws for the lowest holes in each flare. Actual installation only took about an hour or so once I threw in the towel on trying to match up all the hardware.
Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend these as long as you have realistic expectations (don’t expect “plug & play” installation and don’t expect $1000 flares).
