My FIRST Nokia
I have owned many HTC Windows Mobile phones for many years.
After tweaking themes and hacking the registry of all my past phones, I wanted a totally new experience.
I never did like the interface of BlackBerry, and few Nokia models caught my eye.
The camera on the N73 was the biggest selling point for me with its 3.2 megapixels and Carl Zeiss lens. I like that it has that little sliding cover to prevent the lens from getting scratched.
I would have given this model a full 5 star rating, but the keyboard is a little cramped because it is so small. Having owned several full qwerty keyboard phone prior to this, I miss a larger keyboard.
The good thing about this smallish keyboard is that each button has a slightly raised upper and lower edge that prevents me from pressing the wrong one. Very neat!
I really enjoy the sound coming from the small stereo speakers - very loud, or at least much louder than my past phones.

laptop is EXCELLENT / but Windows was compromised!
The machine as a whole is absolutely stunning. I have nothing bad to say about it.

HOWEVER, the pre-installed Operating System (Windows 8.1) was compromised.
During my exploration of installed applications, settings, etc. I came across some Chinese characters while navigating the Device Manager settings and in other places.
I immediately became concerned and tossed in my latest burned disc of Debian Jessie.
But it's cool though. I have been using GNU/Linux for years. I was gonna run with Jessie anyways, but it wasn't planned til later, as I have not had a Windows PC in about 8 years.
