Good value

Worked well for us (a simple first use only) If it only did the job once it would well and truly pay for itself (maybe 10x over) against plumber's costs. It is strong but not the heavy duty equipment you see used by plumbers and you would not expect it to be. In not having a separate engine it also does not feed in the same way. Still can be very useful

Ideal

Easily cleaned. Removable/replaceable hotplates clean with a simple wipe or two while still warm. They are dishwasher proof but that should never be necessary. They are also impressive for the integrated heating elements and durability. The unit drains well and in being adjustable to a wide range of heights and able to open out is extremely flexible. The heat sensor works really well (though will not likely see a lot of use here) The sensor is conveniently located on the side of the unit though a little more positive clicking into place wouldn't go astray - easily dislodged if bumped. Externally, the unit is neat, up-to-date, immediately readable/understandable, simple to operate and very easily cleaned. A touch more resistance to tipping in the direction of the top when stood up for storage may be desirable in future releases but this is a minor matter which care can easily negate. Best of all, it cooks as close to perfectly as we could imagine needing. Another excellent Breville product, and advance for the home kitchen.
