Installed and working
Out with the old and broken, in with the new and working. Can't go wrong with a classic.

Great Linux laptop
We have two, both running Ubuntu 11.10. Both work great. I recently upgraded the Hard drive in one. My nephew messed up the the power connector on his, I got one without a hard drive and plugged in his.
Slide out drive made both of these easy.
It is also helpful that Dell has the service manuals online.
If you plan running Linux try to get the one with the Intel Wifi. The Broadcom wireless took a lot of effort to get working.

The price is right for this hard to find video
Playback had some minor glitches, but is completely watchable. I have fond memories of this film, and wanted to share with my kids. I was very glad to find it.
