plays great. nice setup right out of the box.
this is a very well made violin and is well suited for country and bluegrass music. the workmanship
is very nice as well as the choice of wood. It plays easy and clear notes. An upgrade on the strings allows you to choose the sound your looking for depending on choise of strings. A great value for the money.

1 of 1 found this helpful If you have a S&W SD9VE then you owe it to yourself to do the spring upgrade. Polish all the inner workings to a high shine while doing so and it will turn a tough triger into a very nice one. Also recomend doing the Apex triger at the same time. Turned my 300.00$ gun into a 500.00$ one in doing so. It is not a long prossess and if you are not mechanical enough to do it then any good gun smith can do it for you. There are videos on utube that show the whole prossess.
