Ten minute dryer fix
So the dryer doesn't stop when you open the door and the light doesn't come on. The switch is broken. A quick review of a few Youtube videos shows how to open the dryer and reach the switch. There are plenty of switches listed on ebay and I order one from a company located in the neighboring state. It arrives in a few days, ten minutes give or take, to replace the switch and the dryer is good as new. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, socket wrench.

Cordless chainsaw ideal for light duty clean ups
Purchased the Skill CS4555-10 cordless chainsaw to supplement my gas chainsaw. I'll use it for light duty clean up after storms. Being battery powered there's no need to mess with gas, air filters or carb adjustments. It has an automatic chain oiler and a see-thru tank to check oil contents. The chain tension adjustment is handy in that no tools are needed. I used the saw to cut up a twelve inch Ash tree that was down and it exceeded my expectations. That said it does not cut as fast as a gas powered saw nor was it expected to do so. Battery life is about twenty minutes of serious cutting. It fully recharges in under an hour. Highly recommended.
