Useful, as all guides are. But one of the annoying things for those (like me) who are trying to read music quickly is that all key signatures are given as if in C (i.e., no key signature), with other keys indicated by accidentals, not in the signature itself, but in the musical line. Perhaps this is standard (although it isn't in any sheet music I've seen), but It would be more useful to see right off that, say, the key is D, or Eb, and that those presumed 'accidentals' coming up in the phrase you are asked to play are not accidentals at all, but parts of the scale.
