2 of 2 found this helpful I bought these to replace the stock pickups in my us american standard strat i am well pleased, these pickups can handle distortion and give your blues some balls and when you play clean the tone is strong and full of character i love the way my guitar sounds now and exploring the new tones is going to be very fun.

I'm very pleased with my r8 especially the built in drums and also the many effects and eq parameters. I like the sliders and I like the pads that are assignable with any audio or drum loops you choose or have made your self. It's dead easy to start a new project plug in a guitar or bass and bounce tracks and set the levels and eq and effects etc, the built in metronome has a click/Bell or stick sound I prefer the stick sound as it's less harsh. The xlr inputs are great for using a mic or 2 the built in condenser mics are useful but I would opt for plugging in proper mics.
I wouldn't bother consulting the manual as its not user friendly there are however very useful you tube videos instead. You can sample in any audio and there's a track sequencer but I havnt learnt how to use that yet but overall for what it costs its the best in its price range.
