Filter Holder For Series 9 Filters
I'm using this to put Series 9 filters on my 82mm filter size lens. The two filters are very close in size, but the series 9 are easier to find.

Snaps Into Place And Stays There
I was hesitant to buy a lens with an m39 mount. I was afraid of the focus problems you get with mounting a rangefinder lens on a DSLR--stuck in permanent macro mode. However there other m39 lenses that are compatible. The Mir 1 lens that I got was cheaper in the m39 mode than in the m42. I thought about getting an m39 to Canon eos ef adapter. This would have worked, but I wanted to use the m42 extension tubes and 2x converter that I already had. I don’t think these exist for m39. So I got the m39 to m42 adapter. I was worried that it would spin and come off every time I unscrewed the lens from the m42 to Canon eos ef adapter. And that’s what happened when I tightened it finger tight. I had gotten some Loc Tite in case. But first I used a lens spanner to tighten it. This worked. It snapped into place and stayed there. Doesn’t come off when taking lens off or on. Works well.

Smooth Action!
Slides easily and holds tight. These two were used, but were just as good as new.
