Stuck my micron gauge on with one short ...

Stuck my micron gauge on with one short hose and it struggles to pull down below 500 microns. It did but it took longer than it should. It might work but I don’t believe this is anywhere near 9cfm. It should pull down within a few seconds of pumping in this configuration. I have a dinosaur Dayton pump that puts this thing to shame. I was hoping to replace the old pump but with this one. Besides that it’s a vacuum pump. Lives up to “you get what you pay for”.
