One of the few solid dragracing games
I will start this review with a disclaimer. I not basing the merits of this game by comparing it to arcade games where anyone can just pick up the game in a few minutes. I'm comparing this game to what I think a good dragracing game should be. I've been disappointed in dragracing games in the past so researched different games online and found this one to be the highest rated. It turned out to be slightly better than expected. The graphics are not spectacular but much better than other similar games I've seen. What is really great is the depth of control you have over the setup of your car. I'm stil fairly new to the game but everything from shiftpoints to the angle of your tailwhing is adjustable. This can be alittle over bearing but the game offers autotuning based on the track and conditions. I'm a very amatuer dragracer. I go to the local dragstrip and work on cutting my reaction time, which is usually the deciding factor in a race. For this purpose the game can really help you if you are running off the light, but I've yet to see a feature that would allow a delay box. The game only features rail cars, funny cars, and prodrag cars, no hot rod or street cars. The game also has some videofootage of the different racers and of some of thier more famous races. I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a good dragracing game, but would not recommend it to the average arcade racing fan.

Great game now with all expansions free.
This game is still fairly new and has a large online player population. However as it wasn't quiet the hit they expected the market was flooded with product and its so cheap now to pick up a copy. I wouldn't worry about buying expansion packs as they are all free now!!(online download). This game is basically a online focused fast paced version of mechwarrior. Cons: NO local multiplayer (splitscreen). Campaign is basically a normal map selection with a small amount of scripted conversation before the online match begins.

    Graphically immersive some features missing
Why I bought it: I recently bought Battlefront as all my coworkers were playing. The game has great graphics, I play with an r9 280 video card which is enough for the setting on nearly the max with no loss of frame rate. To download you will need Origin as opposed to Steam. The good: Great graphics, some maps have areas that looks real to life. Many of the maps are set in areas from the movies. Multiplayer rarely lags. The bad: No true single player support. The few training missions are very basic and short lived. No local multiplayer ability (no split-screen). Not enough features, on the main menu you can use points you gain during matches to unlock or upgrade items, play missions but there isn't much else outside of the Jabba the hut bounties. Summary: Worth a buy if you find it on sale or a deal on ebay.
