Pilot for BEARCATS!!!
I love the old tv series Bearcats! It was disappointing to buy the “complete series” set and not find the pilot movie, Powderkeg. This was a great way to acquire it. It is in many ways a relic of its time, rather culturally insensitive… but the story and action are very exciting, the heroes likable, the cast is great… and some of the interactions with secondary characters very funny!! Essential for fans of Rod Taylor, Dennis Cole, and the Stutz Bearcat.

Trio of fast-paced, absorbing stories with wonderful illustrations!
What a find this collection of short stories by the incomparable Jim Kjelgaard has turned out to be. All three stories are thematically linked and very compelling, and I love the artwork! So ably drawn, so evocative and lively! I SO wish this artist had worked on more of Mr. Kjelgaard's tales. I will keep an eye out for more!
