Perfect for my application.
1 of 1 found this helpful Just what I needed for the front end of my Airstream where I have a recessed male connection to some 12-2 that runs to the rear bumper where the shore power cord can be plugged into a 110VAC outlet box that connects this 12-2 extension to the said recessed male connection on the outside front wall of the trailer. I also have installed an inverter under the couch next to the battery charger and a DPDT switch on the outside front wall near the recessed male connector. This switch is installed in a double gang weather box next to a standard 110VAC outlet. With that switch down, the inverter is disabled and the battery charger is enabled so the trailer is in factory configuration. With the switch up, the battery charger is disabled and the inverter enabled. This coiled cord connects the 110AC outlet next to the switch (which is the output of the inverter) to the 110VAC male such that in this configuration the batteries in the truck and trailer run the inverter which powers the 110VAC circuits in the trailer. I needed a retractable cord so that when I want to supply 110VAC to the trailer from the gasoline generator in the tow truck, I can simply unplug this coiled cord from the inverter output outlet and plug it into the generator. It will stretch out nicely to the longer length to reach the generator and still be short enough while plugged into the outlet on the trailer wall so that it doesn't get down on the road and damaged.
Well that was a small book about why I like this particular cord. Oh yes, the right angle male plug on the cord is great too because the cord comes straight down from the outlet which allows its weather cover of close completely. And the moulding on the female end is small enough in diameter that it will fit into the recessed male connection.

Good product, works perfectly & 4 keys saved me a trip to the locksmith.
Exactly as described, installed no problem (Because I had modified the latch the inside arm of these handles engages, I had to bend their arms at 90 degrees but that didn't bother them at all.)
