A "Must Have" For the Baofeng UV5R Radio.

I recently bought a couple of battery cases for my Baofeng UV5R, and it will take 6 nickel metal (NiMH) batteries or 5 alkaline batteries. When using alkalines, you need a AAA battery spacer to take up the 6th space in the battery compartment. If you put 6 alkalines in, there is a voltage circuit within the radio that will shut off transmit, hence the spacer to drop the voltage down to the 7.5 volt threshold to transmit. It works, and these gems do the trick nicely. You get 4 of them, so its a bargain!

The perfect phone

I was looking for a phone like this to replace the prepaid Verizon phone I had years ago. I'm not big on smart phones, so this one fit the bill nicely. Well worth the purchase!

My old Kenwood TM-733 has been sitting on the shelf for about 9 years, so I decided to put it back into action, but I was missing the old DTMF mike. So on seeing this one advertised, I got it and it fits the bill perfectly! Despite the radio being ump-teen years old, it works almost as well as the day I bought it, so it was a shame to put it out to pasture. This mike brings it back to life!
