  Purchased the item on a Tuesday and wasn't shipped until Friday. Bought a NEW motor and it arrived as shown in the photos. Contacted the seller to ask how they would like to handle the damage, days later finally got a message back telling me to look at their photos and read the description. The motor was clearly damaged in transit wrapped only in used grocery bags. This motor can be repaired, but I shouldn't have to purchase additional items to use a NEW motor.

  At first I thought the buyer was joking. The motor the buyer bought was damaged as the buyer clearly saw in the listing. I described the damage and photographed it as well. So before the buyer bought the motor the buyer knew there was damage to the motor and the buyer was going to have to repair the motor. The only other option would be to run the motor without repairing it and risk overheating and burning the motor up. You knew the motor was damaged & needed repair before buying. Who does this
