I can "see" why these goggles are one of the industry's best
These Oakley Flight Deck goggles are amazing! At long last, I've found a goggle that fits well AND lets me see much more clearly in Flat Light or snowy conditions. They were very good even when the sun came out. I now have better depth and texture perception of the snow. Much easier to 'read" the terrain ahead of me and adjust. And bonus points for the snazzy Red, White, and Blue color scheme with the Flaming Eagle motif on the band. They fit over my prescription eyeglasses decently enough, but I FINALLY upped my game and ordered prescription lens inserts for my goggles, so now I can see well AND have the additional comfort of not wearing glasses underneath! Only gripe is that the spare lens that was included in the box was NOT for the Flight Deck but for the Oakley Airbrake XL instead. Bummer. I'll have to order the appropriate replacement lens in the future...

Gearing for racing success
Not much to say about this 46T spur gear other than it made my buggy a bit faster on the top end than my previous 47T spur did. Also it ran a bit quieter than my last gear as the former was a bit stripped from the pinion gear shifting. Overall, this is a strong spur gear and great addition to any TLR Ebuggy.

Novak may be gone, but their legacy lives on
Though Novak Electronics closed their business in 2016, their legacy of quality products remains intact. I've been using a Novak speed control in my race cars since the late 80's til today. I already owned an Activ8 V2 in my ebuggy, which has been performing well for over a year now. So when the time came to upgrade from my Novak Crusher ESC in my TLR SCTE to a more robust 1/8th scale spec ESC, I already knew which model I wanted. It was very hard to find a New In Box Activ8 V2 ESC, so I was relieved to find one on ebay. So far the ESC runs cool, has a very smooth braking, and a smooth throttle response. With any luck, I'll have no electrical malfunctions to end the use of this ESC and force me to switch brands.
