Not possible to open battery compartment
Impossible to open the battery compartment, Manufacturer seems to have used some kind of proprietary screwdriver-bit, as the battery cover is not possible to open with any kind of standard skredrivers, torx or similar.

Great blade, cheap handle
Blade was slightly warped when I received it, but was easy to bend back to straight. The blade itself is very nice and thin, and is a wicked cutter once sharpened.
The handle is cheap, with soft wood and plastic bolster. I will change it later on. For the price, I'd still say you get a decent knife, probably a great knife once you change out the handle.

Worth the money
It works a little bit better than I anticipated, when it comes to throwing sparks and lighting even damp material. It does however seem to wear down a little quicker than more expensive rods, but this can hardly be called a surprise. All in all, it's absolutely worth the money and is a good buy for anyone looking for a decent firesteel.
