Better and much faster readings than the expensive hospital oral thermometers!
It's just as accurate as the Welch Allen expensive oral thermometers. This gives me a temperature in about 2 seconds as opposed to the oral thermometers. Love it, use it in the ER all the time. I performed a test using this Medline infrared thermometer comparing it to the expensive hospital Welch Allen oral thermometers, it was within a tenth of the oral thermometer every time during my two week test on over a hundred patients.
