Great sign
I bought one of this guy's signs a couple years ago and it still works great. Quality materials and bright light. Good vendor and great communication. I strongly recommend.

Deadly accurate and easy to aim
Unboxed it, put on scope and stirrup, ready to go. Zeroed in scope with 2 shots.
STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you shoot at a different target with each shot unless you have money to spend on arrows that have hit the previous arrow. I fired 3 shots and each was within a 1/4 inch of dead center.
Great balance in design allows you to more easily put the sight on target and then hold it while you squeeze the trigger. Speaking of triggers, it has a 3-5 lb adjustable trigger. Why you would set it above 3 lbs is beyond me; this setting makes firing easier and keeps you on target.
When resting it on a crossbow holder, the full weight of the crossbow sits on the string instead of the limbs - a quick call to Bear Archery confirmed that this situation is not damaging to the string as long as the string is sitting on padded arms.
I think one of the most remarkable features is that even though it's a couple pounds heavier than my other high end traditional crossbows, the balance is such that I don't notice the difference and it actually feels lighter when I'm aiming.
All things considered, I would recommend this crossbow and I suggest that you purchase and install the string stoppers that are sold for them. Once you put on string stoppers there is virtually zero recoil.

Excellent scope with a twist
1 of 1 found this helpful This would normally be a very nice scope. BUT, the description is a bit deceiving. It gives you the impression that this is a 1.5-5x magnification AND has the ability to be set for the crossbow's fps power. This is NOT TRUE. This is an either/or option. You can either set it for the correct fps at 1.5x magnification OR you can use it as an up to 5x mag scope.
Out of the box, the scope zeroed at 20 yds once fps had been set.
NOTE: It comes in 25 fps increments on the dial, so you'll need to kind of guess where to set your dial of its not a multiple of 25.
