Sturdy and smooth
It's my favorite watercolor block because the paper is sturdy and the texture is smooth. It doesn't buckle easily and I like using it for making greeting cards and ZIA inspired art instead of cardstock paper.

High quality multimedium paper
It's great for Gouache, watercolor and ink. But, The best part is how very smooth it is making it perfect for graphite pencils and gel pens. It's thick, lightweight, sturdy, and stands up to erasers and I do a lot of erasing. I use it instead of cardstock.

Best for beginners and great as a refresher.
You get both the instructional book and a sketch pad with drawing prompts. I bought one for my sister who wants to learn tangling and now I want one just to get more practice in. I totally recommend it for Zentangle enthusiasts!
