A good beginning into the German language
Good for both basic and some advanced conversation geared generally to adults, but OK for motivated children (we gave it to our 12 year old granddaughter for Christmas). Moves rather rapidly and the CD conversations are fast, so you must listen and repeat often. Master each section before moving on to the next.
Would ;be even better if you could work with another person (my wife is a German native), but not necessary if the learner if conscientious.
This course is not directed toward grammar although there is some. For deeper understanding of the language purchase the companion product: Teach Yourself German with the goal of "all-around confidence".
