Superb scope at excellent price
5 of 6 found this helpful Mounted on CZ 452 .22lr. Great eye relief for my 60 yr old eyes, and the optics are excellent (particularly considering the price). This is my second VX-1, and like the first excellent construction-rock solid, and consistent build quality. I also use some Nikon scopes, Also top end, but have found Nikon's engineering and quality of construction somewhat inconsistent compared to Leupold.

Penn quality is unequalled
At 60 yrs old, I've tried numerous salt water reels from the "top" reel manufacturers-Daiwa, Shimano, etc., and none of them compare with the engineering, quality of workmanship, and durability of reels manufactured by Penn. I now own 4, and wouldn't consider buying another brand. The Clash 6000 is my latest Penn purchase, and it is the smoothest, most efficient, and easiest to use of all my Penn reels. It's made me a better fisherman. I'm confident, with the right care, i'll still be using it at age 75.
