Great little model.
I am more a railway modeller then a car person, but as someone with a "Southdown bus garage" to the rear of his station, an engineers van was too good to miss!
The model comes in a hard plastic box, composed of a black plastic base and transparent one piece side and top, with a cardboard sleeve. So it is well protected!
The model itself is well cast, looks right from every angle, and has good clear colour, signs and markings. and is fairly robust and well constructed.
I am well pleased with it, and it looks the part parked at the rear of the garage, and may well be joined by a different type van soon!

A 2nd portion of - The Goodies DVD 2005
2 of 2 found this helpful I can remember waiting for these to come on the Tv when I was a kid! Which is enough of a reason to buy a copy I suppose.
These are copies of the programs that went out many years ago, and while the jokes are now dated, the "fun" that it was all meant to be and not to be taken as serious still shows through. The sketches are still way over the top, and typical of the old 70s 80s era - A good, BBC comedy.
Although some of the wording may offend those who are politically correct to-day!
An interesting extra is a short prog about how they treated the old stored films from the rough state they were in to the clean digital copies we now view. Some of the improvements have to be seen to be believed - and leaves one with the question that considering how popular the goodies were, why did the BBC allow these films to get into such a bad state?

A good "Historical" read.
1 of 1 found this helpful If you are looking for factual and historical information about the Southern Railway and its past, which you will want to use once and return to again later, then you will be on to a good thing!
Its contents range across the Southern Railways Area and the different subjects involved in running and maintaining a railway, such as signalling, track work, the bombings of WW2, locomotives, EMUs etc. it is composed of personal recounts, historical information and "previously unpublished" photographs.
It is well put together, has a good content, "but", it is not a "light" read, and a lot of the content is covered as "part works" which carry over into the next edition, mostly due to the need of detail that the subject is covered in!
I intend to collect the set, which will take time!
Regards!
