Great action and tone. I couldn't be much happier with this friggin' awesome guitar.
Like the other two Jacksons I've owned, this guitar is a dream to play. Great action, feel and tone. Also, I have small hands, so the cutaway and contours in the back make it easier to play higher on the fret board without running into a huge block. Also, I took a screwdriver to the two screws on the adjustable bridge and gave them a few turns to lower the action even a little more. To my ear, the intonation wasn't affected enough to need adjustment. ----- I'm not a guitar expert, but I suspect that the tuners would be something folks would change out if they had the know-how. It stays in tune pretty well, but the tuners "feel" like their quality may be one of the things that was sacrificed to get the price so low. The only other thing I can think of, if I were just desperate to come up with something to be picky about is the switch. It seems like the throw is too far, and not as smooth and easy as I'd want it to be. But that's me TRYING to be nitpicky. I couldn't be much happier with this friggin' awesome guitar.
