Hold on to the old Nicad battery tools
These batteries are every bit the quality I wanted..they function just like the new ones did.. good power and endurance and recharge quickly within 45 minutes. Very glad I decided to keep my older drill going by getting the replacement batteries! Sure, lithium technology is improved, but there isn’t a good reason to trash the old Nicad tool because the original batteries die. Performance is plenty good for most any household uses (I have the 12 volt unit) without having to purchase new unit.
